Japanese sliding door handles made of fine wood for room dividers and furniture sliding doors
Shoji Handles - Sliding door handles made of fine wood for delicate frame doors
Shoji handles are flush-mounted into the frame wood or the door surface. They are suitable not only for Japanese sliding doors, but also for furniture doors, kitchen fronts or modern room dividers.
Shoji handles for flush gluing, made of hardwood
These handles are glued into a prepared hole in the frame wood. The corners of the handle hole must be chiseled out by hand. The handle recesses themselves are slightly conical (wider at the top than at the bottom), so that they can be installed seamlessly.
Some handles are already surface-treated. You should let these in ½ mm deeper so that you do not damage the surface of the handle when plastering or sanding.
