MADO Film glass decoration film with Japanese paper print

Real Japanese paper look for windows and glass doors

Easy to apply on glass surfaces: Japanese paper window films are privacy films with the natural structure of Japanese Shoji paper and are applied wet like conventional glass films. With self-adhesive Japanese paper decorative films, you can easily and quickly transform glass surfaces on doors, partitions or windows into deceptively real Japanese paper surfaces.

This makes the look of Shoji and Japanese paper possible even in areas where glass cannot be dispensed with because sound insulation and safety are crucial. The films can be applied to all smooth, flat glass surfaces such as shop windows, bathroom windows, glass partitions and glass doors.

The Japanese paper glass decoration films are, for example, well suited as privacy film for glass doors and windows in bathrooms and in practice rooms. Japanese paper glass films look like real Washi with Unryu fiber structure. They are highly translucent, but virtually opaque.

Processing

Japanese paper window films are applied wet like other glass films.

  • First, the surface is cleaned and then sprayed generously with a mixture of water and detergent.
  • Then peel off the backing film, apply the window film and slide it into the correct position.
  • Finally, use a plastic squeegee to press the film firmly from the center outwards. This removes any creases or air and water bubbles between the film and the glass.
