SAICO AW panels are waterproof and washable, and are also suitable for outdoor use to a limited extent. They can be thermoformed at a temperature of approximately 130°. SAICO panels have very high light transmission but are not transparent. This makes them ideal for use in light fixtures and lampshades.

They are used as material for sliding doors wherever the shoji screen is subject to particularly harsh conditions.
