Unryu N134 is one of the few Shoji papers that are manufactured in the extra wide format of 135 cm. Due to the addition of viscose fibers, the paper is relatively stable despite its thinness. The hemp fiber content ensures beautiful light diffusion and a lively structure.

With its large width of 135 cm, the Shoji paper Unryu N134 is particularly suitable for wide cabinet doors.

Shoji papers are thin, translucent, and either translucent white or natural-colored Japanese papers, which are mainly used for covering lattice frames, screens, and Shoji sliding doors. Shoji papers scatter and distribute the light from lamps or fluorescent tubes very well, so that you can also create large light objects with them. Despite their high translucency, Shoji papers are largely opaque. Shoji papers are glued to wooden frames with a removable natural starch paste based on tapioca and then slightly moistened. They then tighten themselves as they dry.
