Description
LAVO Wallpaper Paste No. 535
Paste for bonding shoji paper, for fusuma paper and light to medium-weight paper wallpapers, for bonding natural fiber flax and viscose fleece. Also for handicrafts, for gluing linen and cotton fabrics and for many paper crafts. This paste consists of pure methyl cellulose and is therefore made from 100% renewable raw materials.
Application
Stir the powder evenly and lump-free into cold water, leave to swell for 1 hour and stir well. If the paste still contains lumps, wait another 1 hour and stir again.
Process prepared paste within 3 days. Can be painted over after approx. 24 hours.
Tips
Suitable for fusuma paper and light to medium-weight paper wallpaper, such as woodchip. Not for vinyl-foamed wallpaper. Also suitable for handicraft work The mixing ratio varies from 1:25 to 1:40 depending on the wallpaper to be glued.
For bonding shoji paper and flax fleece, mix even thicker, approx. 1:20 or thicker.
- These specifications are guide values. The mixing ratio can be optimized depending on the individual case. Factors to consider are the type and thickness of the paper, type of wood surface, room temperature, humidity, working speed....
