Muji N120 ist eines der wenigen Shojipapiere, die im extra breiten Format 135 cm hergestellt werden. Durch die Beimischung von Viskosefasern ist das Papier trotz seiner geringen Dicke relativ stabil. Der Hanffaser-Anteil sorgt für eine schöne Lichtstreuung und eine lebendige Struktur.

Shoji papers are thin, translucent, and either translucent white or natural-colored Japanese papers, which are mainly used for covering lattice frames, screens, and Shoji sliding doors. Shoji papers scatter and distribute the light from lamps or fluorescent tubes very well, so that you can also create large light objects with them. Despite their high translucency, Shoji papers are largely opaque. Shoji papers are glued to wooden frames with a removable natural starch paste based on tapioca and then slightly moistened. They then tighten themselves as they dry.
