Muji N120 is one of the few shōji papers produced in the extra-wide 135-cm format. Thanks to the addition of viscose fibers, the paper is relatively sturdy despite its thinness. The hemp fiber content creates a beautiful diffusion of light and a vibrant texture.

With its generous width of 135 cm, the Shoji paper Muji N120 is particularly well-suited for wide cabinet doors.

Shoji papers are thin, translucent, and either translucent white or natural-colored Japanese papers, which are mainly used for covering lattice frames, screens, and Shoji sliding doors. Shoji papers scatter and distribute the light from lamps or fluorescent tubes very well, so that you can also create large light objects with them. Despite their high translucency, Shoji papers are largely opaque. Shoji papers are glued to wooden frames with a removable natural starch paste based on tapioca and then slightly moistened. They then tighten themselves as they dry.
